Chiropractic has been an integral part of the Drach family for over ninety years. When Dr. Paul's father, Dr. Irvin A. Drach Sr., was a small child he was diagnosed with pneumonia by the local physician. His parents were told by the physician that their son would not live more than a few days at most. After the physician left their home, Dr. Paul's Grandfather took the horse and buggy into town to bring the new local female chiropractor out to the house. She adjusted young Irvin a few times over the next couple of days. Well, he made a rather miraculous recovery under chiropractic care and he grew up knowing that he wanted to be a chiropractor. When he graduated from chiropractic college in 1942 he began practice in the Milwaukee area. Just two years later a practice became available here in Marshfield. Dr. Irvin began practicing here in 1944 and retired in 1980 after thirty-eight years of service. Dr. Paul, therefore, was raised in a chiropractic home. He attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he pursued a biology major and chemistry minor. He graduated with High Honors and then began studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating in 1979 (co-Salutatorian), he returned to Marshfield to begin his current practice and has continued the Drach tradition of chiropractic service to this wonderful Wisconsin area over the past thirty-one years. Over the past 5 years he has over 400 hours of Chiropractic Neurology training and is now a Board Eligible Chiropractic Neurologist.
